The Man Behind the Tee Sheet
Scottsdale Luxury Golf was built on a simple rule: own everything, outsource nothing. That is how you deliver a trip worth repeating.
Marcus Phoenix
Marcus started Scottsdale Luxury Golf after hosting his own golf trips and watching the same problems repeat: bad hotels, rental car arguments, missed tee times, and half the group stuck figuring out logistics instead of playing.
The fix was not a better travel agency. It was ownership. Buy the houses. Build the fleet. Hire the drivers. Know the courses personally. That way, when your group walks off the plane, every piece of the trip is already in place, run by the same team, not a chain of subcontractors.
Today, Scottsdale Luxury Golf operates four private houses, a fleet of 6 to 12 vehicles depending on the season, and relationships with 15+ courses across the Valley. Marcus is involved in every trip, from the first call to the last ride to the airport.
Most groups come back. The ones who have been doing annual trips for years say the same thing: this was the first one where nobody complained.
What We Own
We are not a broker. We do not list other people's properties or contract through third parties. When you book with us, you are using our assets, our team, and our name.
4 Private Properties
Every house is ours. Maintained by our cleaning crew, stocked by our team, inspected before every guest arrives. Not listings. Not partnerships. Ours.
6-12 Vehicle Fleet
SUVs and passenger vans, maintained and cleaned between every trip. Your driver has the keys. You never open a rideshare app.
15+ Course Relationships
Preferred tee times at Scottsdale's best courses. Local restaurant connections. Drivers who know every road. Built over years, not brokered through apps.
The People Behind Your Trip
Drivers
Our drivers are not hired through an app. They are part of the team. They know the routes, the shortcuts, and the best coffee stops on the way to the first tee. Available on call for your entire trip.
Golf Hosts
Local golfers who know the courses, the pin placements, and the pace of play. They join your group, keep the round moving, and make sure everyone has a good time regardless of skill level.
Chef Partners
When you add a private chef dinner, we bring in local culinary talent who cook at the house. Your menu, your preferences, your dietary needs. Steaks, seafood, or something the group picks together.
“I got tired of watching guys spend more time planning the trip than playing golf. So I built something where you show up and the only decision left is which club to pull. That is it. That is the whole idea.”Marcus Phoenix, Founder
